Wassaic Project
Mural installation for the 2026 Summer Exhibition at Wassaic Project featuring 39 artists.
This mural uses local flora and fauna (a blue heron stealing an apple from a tree as a twice-stabbed beetle carries a mock strawberry on its back) to explore ideas of paradise and how to find happiness in an intricate world.
Wooden sculptures were made with birch plywood as a way to bring the mural off of the flat surface and onto the surrounding lawn.
